An American writer in China

Larry Feign's articles and essays have appeared in numerous magazines and in his several books. He is a regular columnist for Culture Magazine, and recently wrote the pilot script for a new animated series.

His book How The Animals Do It was published in the United States and the United Kingdom, and was translated into several languages. His most recent book is Hongkongitis, a collection of essays on Hong Kong and China topics. He is a recipient of a 2011 MacDowell Fellowship.

Larry lives in a small village on an island in the South China Sea, where he is working on two new books, except when interrupted by the occasional visit from a cobra or a baby python.
