Larry Feign is an American humorist, cartoonist and animator who has been based in Hong Kong since 1985. He is best known locally for his comic strip "The World of Lily Wong", which appeared in Hong Kong and Malaysian newspapers and in reprint in hundreds of other publications.
Lily Wong was called "The Doonesbury of Asia" by the Los Angeles Times. The cartoon was infamously brought to an abrupt halt in a brazen act of political self-censorship by the communist-appeasing owner of the South China Morning Post. Feign later co-developed, produced and directed "The AlphaJets" for Walt Disney Television. It was the first-ever series developed and produced entirely in Asia for Disney. He is currently writing, producing and directing a new animated series in collaboration with Aniboom, an Israeli production company.
